The Book Lounge has one of those jampacked, crazy, busy, implausibly exciting weeks for you, full of fun, laughter and food. Starting off, they have their usual storytime for children this Saturday, at 11am.

Sun, Moon and Stars. Today we will read stories about those bright lights in the sky that give us light and life and at night help us guide the way. Especially on wintery days, we miss the sun when we can’t see him!

Well known food blogger, restaurant critic and boutique butcher Andy Fenner has put together a wonderful cookbook by asking 20 of South Africa’s top chefs to put together menus and recipes for entertaining family and friends. This is going to really be a launch with a difference: we’ve put together a little food market for the evening, with food samples from contributing chefs including Chris Erasmus, Vanessa Marx, Jason Lilley & Bertus Basson’s gourmet Wors Roll Stand! Andy will be in conversation with Taste Editor, Abigail Donnelly.
