Booksellers severely affected by NSFAS disbursement policy

Many academic booksellers face closure in the wake of the government’s decision to pay financial aid intended for learning material out in cash to students. Sales at some outlets have plummeted by more than 90%, indicating that NSFAS funds are being spent elsewhere by students. In response, a consortium of booksellers and publishers have formed the Alliance of Academic Success, spearheaded by SABA Vice President Mohamed Kharwa. Read more about it here
