SA Publishers face a bleak future

A recent article in the Natal Witness highlights the plight of Publishers facing the reality of the National Education Department’s new textbook policy. Quoting the Publishers’ Association of South Africa in saying that it could destroy a quarter of South Africa’s publishing industry, or half of the country’s capacity to create textbooks and other materials.
